About
Pamela Galindo is a Biological Sciences major, minoring in Anthropology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her graduating class is 2021.
She is currently working with the project, but what she has enjoyed the most about STiiP was being able to meet and interact with so many new people, remotely and when the project was in person. Her favorite aspect of working with the project is being part of an amazing research team, and being able to contribute to further understanding how skin tone can be correlated to any inequalities a person may face.
She says that:
working on this project has helped me further my interpersonal skills, while also contributing to something important to me and to others.
She is currently working with the project, modifying our website, and actively participating in other extracurricular activities.
